Nurses from the Cree Territory of James Bay given opportunity to share knowledge and best practices in palliative care at their Annual Nurses Training held in Montreal

This year, nurses from the Cree Territory of James Bay attended their Annual Nurses Training in Montreal from November 12 to 23. The Montreal Institute for Palliative Care was delighted to share two 90-minute sessions with nurses on “Using a palliative care approach in providing person-focused end of life care” and “The concept of total pain and considerations of its treatment”.

Designed to strengthen the knowledge and skills of nurses working in various care settings in the Cree Territory of James Bay, the sessions allowed for the sharing of knowledge and best practices in palliative care.
